it used to be you could go to the pharmacist for advice. the reality today is that this is near impossible. pharmacists can barely take bathroom breaks. i called a pharmacy recently to inquire if they had an over-the-counter strep test in stock - i was on hold for 25 minutes. no one ever even answered the phone.
